Katherine

Katherine spent most of her time reading aloud to her kiddos until about seven years ago when she picked up a copy of Pride and Prejudice from the Meredith Public Library in New Hampshire that looked weirdly like Twilight. Curious, she turned to the appendix and read all about the vampire versus werewolf series that was loosely based on Austen’s beloved story of Darcy and Elizabeth (which she happily read again, again), Romeo and Juliet (which she also read again, and still loved), and Heathcliff and Catherine (which she detested). She’s had a grown up book in her hands ever since. She moved to Indiana in 2024, kicking and screaming the whole way. Shortly after sadly settling in to her new life among the cornfields, she twirled into the Shelby County Public Library where she poured her heart and soul into a handwritten job application. The rest is “librarian” history, and now you can find her comfortably tucked away into a sunny corner of Adult Services most days wearing her bookish tee and cardigan with pride.
