TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE: We are pleased to announce that B.A. Shapiro, author of Shelby County Reads main book selection, The Muralist, will be joining us for a special presentation on Thurs., Oct. 11 at the First Presbyterian Church. A VIP Meet & Greet ($25) will be followed by an author presentation (free ticket required), Q&A, and book signing.
The library is proud to participate in Shelby County Reads, our county's "One Book, One Community" reading program. This year, The Muralist by B.A. Shapiro is our main selected book. Events will kick off on Fri., Sept. 7 with a special visit from Pete the Cat and author/artist Gabriel and Jamie Kay Lehman. Are you beginning an ancestry project and need help? All ages are welcome to come to the department to learn how to trace their ancestry! A workshop is held on the last Wednesday of every month. This workshop will be "Using Ancestry for Free at the Library."
