To celebrate National Pet Month, the Barnyard Party Pals will be set up outside the library from 1 to 4 pm.  Enjoy petting the animals, learning about them from Luke, and listening to a special outdoor story time with Dustin at 2 pm.  This is a free event for all ages.

Dinosaurs have invaded the library! All month long, we've had a dinosaur infestation! Since there's so many dinosaurs in the library, they've taken over, and we're celebrating our new reptilian overlords! Join us for fun and games with all the dinosaurs!

Celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday on July 31!

Beginning at 2 pm, any Witch or Wizard ages 11 to 19 will gather to make their wands for the upcoming school year in the Youth Department at Shelbyville.

All Hogwarts-enrolled students can meet to construct their wands using materials the library has gathered for this important educational tool!

No Muggles Allowed!

The Youth Advisory Board will be decorating book ends for the upcoming holidays and themes. Join us at 4 pm in the program room. Not in YAB? Come anyway, and consider joining us as the Student Council of the library. Teens and tweens welcome!
