Learn how to use Canva in a guided tutorial with library staff. Canva is a graphics design program, but much more than the usual graphics designer. Bring your laptop if you have one, but it is not necessary. This program is FREE, and is recommended for age 17+.
Ken Jewell Literary Society: Stardust (@Morristown)
Join us at the library for a discussion and review of “Stardust” by Neil Gaiman. Books are available at the Morristown Branch library for checkout. You do not have to be a member of the literary society to participate, and you don’t need to have finished the book to attend.
Spring Book Sale $5 a Bag (@Annex)
It’s National Library Week! Let’s celebrate with an awesome $5 a bag book sale from Tuesday, April 9 through Saturday, April 13! Stuff as much as you can into a Friends of the Library tote bag for $5. That includes hard cover books, softcover books, CDs, DVDs, children’s books, and more!
The Friends of the Library Used Book Store is located inside Carnegie East Wing at the front of the building on the north side. More books are stored in the Computer Lab. Take books to the Computer Lab clerk to purchase.
All library locations will be closed for the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, but all re-open at 9 am Tuesday, April 9 for the book sale!

Closing Early Good Friday (All Library Locations)
All Shelby County Public Library locations will close early on Friday, March 29 at 5 pm in honor of Good Friday. This includes the Velma Wortman Morristown Branch, the main Shelbyville Branch, and Carnegie East Wing, which houses the Computer Lab, the Genealogy & History Department, and the Friends of the Library Used Book Store.
All locations will open at 9 am on Saturday, March 30.
