"Cookies and Canvas" Summer Reading Program

Children ages 7 and up are welcome to join us for “Cookies and Canvas”! Kids paint galaxies with us and eat some cookies while you’re at it! All supplies will be provided! Daniel Lusk will once again be joining us at the Strand Theatre for a special summer reading show, “BlastOff to Magic!”! Free show with a ticket! Tickets are available in the library’s youth dept., Morristown Branch, and the Strand Theatre. Doors will open at 6pm for ticket holders. If tickets sell out, we will open doors at 6:20pm for general admission. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis!

Meet us on Tuesday, July 23 from 6-8pm as we pack Care Kits for Operation Gratitude with donated items we have collected from our generous community to send in official Care Packages! These gifts of gratitude will be received by new recruits, deployed troops, veterans, and first responders. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors! We’ll meet in the Genealogy & History Dept.’s Indiana Room at the library’s annex, the Carnegie East Wing. You provide the helping hands — we’ll provide finger food!
