A Night in the Stacks: Wine and Cheese Library Fundraiser

ShelbyCoLibrary_NightinStacks.jpg

For one night only, the library throws all rules out the window and hosts an afterhours event! This year's party in the book stacks will feature live music from Jim Brunner, wine/craft beer from Simmons Winery, appetizers from Queens's Cafe and Bakery, and desserts from Stephanie Joest.

The event will be held on Sat., April 27 from 7-9pm and will raise funds for broadened Wi-Fi connection on library property. You must be 21 to attend and tickets must be purchased ahead of the event. The $20 ticket price includes one glass of wine (or beer) and appetizers. You may purchase additional alcohol at the event. You may tickets at the library’s main circulation desk or online.

Not a wine drinker? Join us anyway! We'll have complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and you’ll enjoy the food and entertainment!

Jim Brunner lives in Shelbyville, IN and can be seen playing keyboards and guitar for Big Rosco and the Hammers all over Indy! He will be playing instrumental electric jazz/blues for the evening. Queen's Cafe and Bakery and Stephanie Joest are also local to Shelby County. Simmons Winery and 450 North Brewery are based out of Columbus, Indiana.

Weather pending, the gathering will extend outside into the library's new community plaza for the first time!
