Pillow Workshop

Susan Weaver will be leading
a Workshop to make a Pillowcase 
Tues., March 28 at 6:30pm.

($5 due at registration to attend) 

Join Susan Weaver as she teaches us how to make a pillowcase with a French Seam! For this class, you will need to bring the following:

  • 3/4 yard (27") - Main Fabric
  • 1/4 yard (9") - Top Fabric
  • 3-4" (Cut very straight) - Band

*Please press all of your fabric before class to save time.

  • Sewing Machine 
  • Matching Thread
  • Basic Sewing Kit
  • Rotary Cutter
  • Cutting Mat, Ruler, Iron, and Ironing Board if you have one
This will all be straight sewing. You will learn to do a French Seam so everything will have finished edges. You should be familiar with your sewing machine and will at least need to be 10 years old to attend.

The cost for the workshop is $5.00 and will need to be pre-paid when signing up for the class at the library’s front desk. A minimum of five students is needed for the class to hold.
