Shelby County Public Library - Shelbyville, Indiana

Reading Programs

Each month, Pam Weakley make stops at organizations to read aloud for audiences of all ages. Themes for kids' storytimes range from joyful feelings to favorite animals to funtime learning and usually include puppets, songs, or related activities. For senior adult audiences, the focus is on light reading to stimulate discussion and memory sharing. Call to schedule a time for your organization. Cheryl and Pam visit 21 different audiences on a regular basis. Outreach staff can create a program for any audience need, making them one-time or regular events.

Contact Pam Weakley: 317.398.7121 ext. 239 or if your organization is interested in reading programs.

Outreach Services provides materials and programs for people of all ages within Shelby County. We focus on populations outside the walls of the main library - including schools, organizations, rural and urban areas.
